Street art is a genre of art born out of graffiti utilizing unique illustrative styles and a heavy use of reoccurring characters or themes. Just as the genre of “modern art” describes not modern (i.e. contemporary) works but ones form the late 1800s to mid 1900s not all art created in a public setting is “street art”. If you present yourself as a professional writer please try to educate yourself about various terminologies you are using in your writing to better combat the abundance of misinformation present on the internet.
